Before the formation of the European Union, Tasmania provided apples to the world- gorgeous, heritage apples like Lady in the Snow and Cox's Orange Pippin - apples that were grown with pride and can now be difficult yto find.
 
Our apple industry has morphed over the years, with some of the best ciders now being produced by brewers in our tiny island state.
 
So many skills, traditions and lives held together by the simple apple.
