Every Summer, I move half of my apiary out to Tasmania's SW wilderness. Before I move them, I take all of the capped honey off the hives, sometimes leaving uncapped nectar.

The bees quickly get to work out in the Leatherwood forests and cap the last part of these frmes with Leatherwood - I can't call this honey Prickly box, or blue gumas it has a sligh Leatherwood taste in the background - once detected you can't miss it!

Test your Leatherwood detection skills on one of these jars and let me know what flavours you can taste.
